You made one of the hardest decisions of your life. You showed up for surgery. You started the medication. You did the work and still the weight came back. The old feelings returned and quietly, in the moments when no one is watching, you've started to wonder if something is just broken in you.
It isn't. What you're carrying isn't a lack of willpower or discipline. It's the emotional weight that was never part of the medical plan and it's been there all along, waiting for someone to finally help you with it.
That's what I'm here for.
You don't have to have it all figured out to start. We'll work through it together at your pace, with compassion and without judgment.
There are a lot of programs, coaches, and challenges out there promising to fix what you're going through. And maybe you've tried some of them.
What's different here is that I'm a licensed clinician — not a coach. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker independently licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi, I can diagnose, treat, and hold the full clinical complexity of what you're experiencing. I've worked with people in this exact place. I understand the cycle. And I know there's a way through it. My approach is holistic, faith-informed, and genuinely human. You will not be judged here. You will be seen.
Individual Therapy — Weekly one-on-one sessions to work through the emotional and psychological patterns at the root of your struggle. Diagnosis and treatment within full LCSW scope of practice.
Pre-Surgical Behavioral Health Evaluation — A thorough, compassionate clinical assessment to support your bariatric surgery clearance process.
Post-Operative Support — Ongoing therapy for the emotional shifts, relationship changes, and identity adjustments that come after surgery — including weight regain and transfer addiction.
GLP-1 Behavioral Support — Clinical support for the unexpected emotional complexity that often comes with GLP-1 medication journeys.
Please note: This specialty focuses specifically on the behavioral and emotional dimensions of bariatric surgery and GLP-1 medication journeys. I do not provide eating disorder treatment as a primary diagnosis. If you are seeking support for a primary eating disorder, I am happy to provide a referral to a specialist.
